– GUMBALL 3000

Aston Martin One-77 during GUMBALL 3000 near Senlis in France. The car was driven by co-pilot Massimo because Kevin had previously lost his license. The last kilometers through Paris we had the honor to lead the vehicle to Place Vendôme because the navigation system in the Aston did not work very well.  (by Murphy Photography & Pixelklinik)

Mercedes F125 Concept

The “F” in F125 stands for Forschungsfahrzeug – that means experimental car. The 125 refers to the anniversary of the automobile – remember 1886 when the Patentwagen was presented by Benz.

Even, if it does not look that way from this perspective, the F125 still has the 3-box design like a classic sedan. The gullwing doors are 90 percent of the wheelbase.

The F125 contains several innovations that are good for the year 2025: hydrogen fuel cell technology, composite plastics, operation by hand gestures, a lithium-sulfur battery and other things that will not be seen in the next generation S-class.

The F125 is actually the most advanced car at this fair.
